Printed Matter (updating)

Trained as a printmaker, Lisa uses print as a slow process of looking by inviting viewers to travel their eyes through layers of different shades and colours as a way of observing nature. She works with etching, drypoint and silk screen technics which also combined with innovative methods oriented by the concept of each project. She uses metallic and organic powder pigments, gold-leaf to create contrasting textures and reflective layers (image1); deconstructed pixels as a representation of romanticised digital utopia (image 4). She combines print editions with painting as a way to revisit landscapes and as cross-sections of time.
